Culture & Community
Sandy Spring Museum sustains the living cultural heritage of Montgomery County by supporting artists and communities who share, practice, and carry forward their cultural traditions.

Our vision
We envision an equitable Montgomery County that leverages the rich and diverse cultural heritage of its residents as a vehicle toward increased empathy, cross-cultural understanding, and coalition building.
We believe that bold, innovative, creative action is an essential tool for realizing this vision for a better tomorrow.
From the historic to the present-day, we center the stories of all people who call this area home in everything we do.
