Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer for the Garden Tour on Saturday, May 18!

Volunteer as a docent, ticket taker, or parker (AM or PM). Volunteers receive a pre-tour of the gardens and a ticket to see the rest of the gardens on tour day.

You do not have to be a member of the Garden Club to volunteer. Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the club while getting to know its members.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • help with the courtyard clean-up and planting

  • help with the holiday greens sale:
cutting the greens, putting them in water, learning how to make the various items, cleaning up after the sale

  • grow or donate plants for the Strawberry Festival

  • help with the Garden Tour:
be a docent at one of the gardens, check tickets, help with parking

By volunteering, you will discover that Sandy Spring Museum’s Garden Club members are a welcoming, dedicated, group of people, who have fun no matter the task!
