Resident Artists

Nine artists create original work in studios located at the Museum. Artist studios are a visual treat.  Three studios are housed in a converted 19th-century barn with exposed timber peg joints.  A pottery studio, also housed in a converted barn, is located in the courtyard, and two studios are located inside the Museum. Resident artists are sculptors, metalsmiths, potters, and mixed media artists who draw inspiration from nature, history, and the Museum’s collection among many other sources.

You may stop by to see the artists in their studios. Their hours vary according to their own schedules and open studios are held throughout the year. See the program schedule for specific dates.

Studio openings vary, please submit an application below if you would like to be considered. Please send any questions to exhibit coordinator Sara Caporaletti.
