Sandy Spring has been shaped by generations who gave what they could, whether that was land, time, records, or a casserole for the church supper. The Museum carries their stories forward because people today choose to do the same. Giving takes more than one form, and some forms can do more for you and for the Museum than a check. Stock GiftMove appreciated stocks or bonds and the Museum receives the full value. You may avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation.

Our volunteers make it possible for the museum to open its doors, share its collections, and welcome everyone as someone who belongs here.
