Community Gallery:
Sandy Spring Museum exhibit application

The Community Gallery is a new rental space at Sandy Spring Museum available to artists for exhibitions of their original work. The Community Gallery is intended to encourage local artists to exhibit a specific body of work for a short-term exhibit.  Artists may rent the Community Gallery for $250/month for up to 2 months maximum.

Group or solo artists are acceptable.  There will be a 30% commission split with the Museum on any sales (the museum receives 30%).  The space is approximately 8x17 feet and has 2 windows with natural light, located directly off the main exhibit hall in the front of the Museum.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and exhibitions will be scheduled based on availability. Artists will be informed of their acceptance within several weeks of your submission.
