Exhibitions

Sandy Spring Museum has three galleries in which we annually present three to four engaging and exhibitions featuring regional solo or groups of artists working in a variety of media. Outdoors, the naturally landscaped grounds have pathways, large lawns, and tree clusters suitable for public art. The Community Gallery is an intimate studio space that allows for up-close viewing of local artists’ work. We celebrate and support cultural arts by collaborating with artists in our region. We connect the community to artists of diverse backgrounds, introduce emerging artists, and allow established artists to experiment, showcasing Sandy Spring Museum’s role as the Regional Folklife Center of Montgomery County.

The galleries are open to the public Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10-4, and Sundays 12-4. Admission is free.
